Our Tuesday, April 28th’s Hometown Heroes are Joshua and Thelma Grady of Lexington.
Thelma nominated her husband, Joshua, saying, “although he is my husband, he and the same group of workers like himself gets little recognition for all they actually do for our community. He works for Lexington Truck Sales make sure semis and big rigs have all the working parts to get to where they need to go and/or do their jobs. Lexington Truck Sales is considered an essential business and does not shut down during the crisis – trucks are still on the road, stores still need to be stocked, fire and sanitation trucks need to be maintained. His job is one of the many thankless jobs out there that get over-looked way to often, and I just wanted to take a minute to appreciate him and workers like him.” Joshua has been an employee with Lexington Truck Sales for 10 years and works 6 days a week.
His wife, Thelma, is also doing her part to help others during this crisis. She works as a 3rd shift Fayette County 911 Dispatcher.
