Sources: Rangers close to hiring Sullivan as coach

The New York Rangers are in advanced contract talks to make former Pittsburgh Penguins coach Mike Sullivan the next head coach, sources told ESPN’s Emily Kaplan and Kevin Weekes on Thursday.
