Trey Lyles Commits to Kentucky

Trey Lyles, who decommitted from IU in August, has given his verbal commitment to the University of Kentucky. Lyles top two schools were Kentucky and Louisville. He was favored to UK, especially after attending Big Blue Madness, but rumors spread hours before his announcement of Pitino and Louisville making a last second push. He choose Kentucky in his press conference aired on EPSNU. This is Calipari's 4th 2014 commit along with Karl Towns Jr., Tyler Ulis and Devin Booker. 

This 6-10 Canadian is ranked as the #7 player in the nation by ESPN and the second power forward also by ESPN. He attends Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis, Indiana and is a five-star player. He is the 23rd five-star to commit to Calipari since he has been at Kentucky. Lyles choose today to announce in honor of his 18th birthday. With the addition of Lyles, Calipari and the Cats move up to the #1 recruiting class for next season.
