We knew it wasn't going to be easy. UK Football

Coach Stoops took the mic today at the UK football press conference like he does every Monday around noon and proceeded to discuss the upcoming game against Alabama State and the lose at Mississippi State. Today though was a little different. His favorite word of the day was "frustrated". I didn't count but I believe in the 25 minutes he spoke, the word "frustrated" at least once per minute. A comment he did make was in reference to the World Series. Claiming he watched the game last night (Sunday) and he acknowledged, mistakes happen.

This is a good thing, actually, this is a great thing. Too many times in the past has their been a passive aggressive nature to a head coach here at UK. Too many times there has been talk between us media people, and too many times there been talk between fans, making the allegation of "do they even care?"

Today spoke volumes about the state of the program and the mind set of the coaches. Things need to get better and they are getting better but, it's still "frustrating".

Take a listen to the audio from the press conference and judge for yourself.
