Former Cats in the NBA

Last night, like most nights during season, several former Cats played in NBA games around the country.
In the Lakers and Pistons game, former Cat Jodie Meeks played 27 minutes for 10 points and one rebound in the Lakers win. Josh Harrellson came off the Detroit bench to score four points and post 2 rebounds in 12 minutes. Former Card Peyton Siva had two points and one rebound in 7 minutes for Detroit also.
The Bucks and Bobcats faced off with the Bobcats coming out with the win, 92-76. Brandon Knight had 17 points, 3 rebounds and two assists in 30 minutes for the Bucks.
San Antonio defeated the Magic, but Doron Lamb hit a free throw to contribute to Orlando’s 91 points.
Terrance Jones had 11 in Houston’s 114-95 win over Brooklyn in 26 minutes. He also had 7 rebounds and one assist.
The Pacers defeated the Wizards, but John Wall had 8 points, 3 rebounds and 9 assists in 35 minutes.
The Pelicans defeated the 76ers 212-105. Anthony Davis played 38 minutes and had 22 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists.
The Suns took down the Jazz 112-101. Eric Bledsoe had 19 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists and Archie Goodwin had one rebound in 4 minutes of play. Enes Kanter had 6 points and four rebounds for the Jazz.
The Clippers edged out the Kings in overtime 104-98. DeMarcus Cousins had 25 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and Patrick Patterson had 7 points and 9 rebounds for Sacramento.
Tonight, in the Atlanta at Washington matchup, John Wall comes in averaging 18.8 a game. Marcus Teague, Nazr Mohammad and the Bulls take on the Cavs. Terrance Jones, Patterson and the Rockets take on the Spurs. Kanter and the Jazz are playing Bledsoe, Goodwin and the Suns, and the Celtics with Rondo on the bench and former Cat Water McCarty as an assistant coach take on the Bucks.

The Bulldogs gave the Cardinals all they could handle but Scott County swept Dunbar in this regular season finale doubleheader. Also, on this night a bit of history. With the Scott County Boys victory, coach Billy Hicks offically become the winningest coach all time in high school basketball with win number 857. Congrats to coach Hicks!
