#ListnerFridays #SEC Eric's picks

Most of us have seen the SEC Media picks for the upcoming football. At this point and time, my vote isn't a part of the SEC media but if I had a ballot the following would be my picks.

SEC West
1. LSU
2. Alabama
3. Auburn
4. Texas A&M
5. Ole Miss
6. Miss St
7. Arkansas

I feel something special with this LSU team this year, a mix of young unproven talent, with a coaching staff hungry to show they are still a player in the SEC. Even without Manziel, I feel A&M will be center of the pack, possible dark horse. Alabama has a question mark at QB and even though this program is built on defense and the running game, having a hole at QB makes me wonder.

SEC East
1. Georgia
2. Florida
3. South Carolina
4. Missouri
5. Kentucky
6. Vanderbilt
7. Tennessee

I'll address UK first, we will see an up tick this season. SEC wins over Tennessee and Miss ST, a third would be great with a win over Vanderbilt. Tennessee doesn't impress me at the moment, I'm a big believer in Butch Jones, but this year may be tough. I won't say Mark Richt's job is on the line, because I refuse to accept it. Richt is a solid coach and under appreciated for what he has done over the years. Look out for Georgia! As Florida and Muschamp goes, finish under 2nd in the SEC East (or lose to UK in week 3) then changes will come for the Gators.
