Mock Draft Predictions
Cleveland Cavaliers- Andrew Wiggins from Kansas, SF
-swing man who gives a scoring threat for Kyrie Irving and creates his own shot.
Milwaukee Bucks- Joel Embiid from Kansas, C
-Pro, big and can be a true dominant center in the NBA (mentioned along the likes of Hakeem Olajuwon)
-Con, his back being injured, could be mention along the lines of Greg Oden or Sam Bowie
Philadelphia 76ers- Jabari Parker from Duke, PF
-Imagine a duo of Parker and Noel on the blocks. Enough said.
Orlando Magic- Noah Vonleh from Indiana, C
-Size and Length, the Magic want/need an inside presence. Haven't had one since Dwight Howard.
Utah Jazz- Dante Exum from Australia, PG
-Ricky Rubio 2.0? Possibly, can he have more success than Rubio? The Jazz would hope so.
Boston Celtics- Marcus Smart from Oklahoma St, PG
-I’m not confident in Rajon Rondo being with the Celtics after this year, if not traded before hand. Smart, would be Smart for 2nd year head coach Brad Stephens.
Los Angeles Lakers- Julius Randle from Kentucky, PF
-When your inside game is an aging Pau Gasol and Chris Kaman, then you’re in trouble. Which is why Randle would be a perfect fit in LA.
Sacramento Kings- Aaron Gordon from Arizona, PF
-Demarcus Cousins needs help, he can score and rebound, but defense is a flaw. Mr. Cousins meet Mr. Gordon, now, go do work!
Charlotte Hornets- Rodney Hood from Duke, SF
-Hood is a shooter, Kidd Gilchrist is not, put Hood at the 3 and you have backcourt of Kemba Walker, Kidd Gilchrist, and Hood. Add Al Jefferson to the post, then Charlotte makes the playoffs for 2 years in a row.
Philadelphia 76ers- Zach LaVine from UCLA, PG
-2nd pick of the first round, and it’s a top 10 pick. LaVine is a project but then again, so is the entire roster for the 76ers.
