#EKU announces some big news this week @EKUSports @EKU Hoops

The Colonels had a strong showing in the 2014 NCAA tournament. Nearly scaring the life and becoming the ultimate cinderalla, with a close game against Kanasas. As a result, the Colonels look towards the future.

Coach Jeff Neubauer has been signed once again to a contract extension as the main man of the EKU Men's basketball program. Along with this news, EKU and UK announced this week they will play at Rupp Arena on Decemeber 7th, 2014. The first time these two schools in Kentucky have played each other since 2006. For the record, Coach Neaubear was in his second season with the Colonels and would later lead them to a NCAA tournament bid that same season.

I was fortunate enough to discuss these two topics and more with the Colonels head coach Jeff Neubauer this past Sunday. Here is the interview as it aired with coach Neabauer.
